Have you ever noticed how some people look great in hats, and on others they simply look silly? I'm not really sure if I'm a hat person or not, as I've never much had the desire to cover up my lovely head of hair with a hat. Oh, did that sound vain? Sorry, but knowing and accepting the good and bad about oneself is healthy. Can I help it if I've been blessed with so much good stuff to accept?
As usual, I digress. The point of this blog is not to discuss my glorious mane of flowing blond hair, nor the fact that J.K. Rowling based Professor Gilderoy Lockhart's hair upon mine. No, the point of this blog is to gratuitously post photos of my baby girl wearing hats. For she, as one can clearly see, is a hat person! So without further ado or unnecessary elaboration let the oohs and ahhs begin:

So... Molly can definitely work a hat. Am I right? These photos are all pretty old, as it's not been hat season lately, of course. Though, you best prepare yourself for the onslaught of new Molly-in-hat photos as the weather starts to cool. ;) So, how about you... are you a hat person?

I'm definitely a hat person, although I haven't always been. I think for many people it's actually a state of mind. If you THINK you are a hat person, you ARE! But if you think you look silly in hats, you're usually right.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I don't think I'd be able to pull off the pumpkin hat quite like Molly! :) Precious!
Yes, our Molly girl is DEF a hat girl. The other day in babies-r-us I was trying fall hats on her and she actually cried when I took them off her! She kept trying to put them back on. We will def be happy when the weather cools and she can start wearing some:)
ReplyDeletePS. Michael your hair is FAR superior to Professor Gilderoy Lockharts. ;)
SHE IS TOO ADORABLE!!! and definetly a hat person:) I love the one with the flower hat and the pouty "oh come on with the pictures" look!!! I just want to squeeze her cheeks!
ReplyDeleteI think I'm a hat person at certain times and other times no...like in the mornings when I walk lealu, yes a baseball hat looks good! lol, and in the winter, yeah, I like to wear a beanie. Martin (with his hairless head) thankfully is a hat person and looks really good in skull caps too!
I'm not typically a hat person, but I do wear baseball caps when I do outdoor type work, like community clean-up days or something. I also will wear a head scarf/bandana when I run outside to hold my hair back from my face, but that's pretty much it.
ReplyDeleteMolly is totally adorable in hats!! And that's so cute that she likes to have them on! Some babies can't get the hats off their little heads fast enough (Emmy hated having hats on...but she likes pretty little hair accessories now:) Molly definitely can work a hat :)
And Michael, I think you should be Professor Gilderoy Lockhart for Halloween! That would great! :)
Lots of love to you and Shannon, Molly, and Strider! Can't wait to see you guys!! :)
Most adorable hat wearer ever -
ReplyDeletenot even Queen Mum wore them as regally! :-)
Thanks everybody. I'm certainly biased, but must agree that Molly can definitely work a hat! ;) She's just learning to walk, so will shortly be the one running by in the cute hat.
ReplyDeleteI love, love the first hat, the brown one! Your daughter is adorable!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rachel. That first photo is my favorite, too. It is actually Shannon's hat. Shannon snapped the photo, and it really makes Molly's eyes "pop". And NOW Molly has another wonderful hat to look great in, thanks to you and your site quirkymomma.com!!! Have a great weekend!
